With dark brown mouthpiece, this shofar is made from kudu’s horn. The antelope horn’s shofar has a polished surface done in amazing craftwork by Barsheshet – Ribak. The swirling elongated body is colored in unique brown shades. The shofar comes with a Kashrut certificate, declaring the shofar as kosher according to Halacha.
Shofars may come in shades of color somewhat lighter or darker than what is pictured.
A clear acrylic shofar stand is available with this shofar for an additional charge.

The Yemenite kudu horn shofar is used on Yom Kippur and Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, to welcome the New Year and mark the end of fasting. At times it can be used on different events as wedding and official government events. This shofar was made by the talented Barsheshet-Ribak families, who started their work and tradition back in the 14th century. The Bar-Sheshet family started the tradition in Spain, while Ribak family began in Poland. Both families joined hands in Israel and their sons continue the magnificent crafting work till today.
The shofar is crafted in Israel under Kosher supervision and it comes with a Kashrut certificate, declaring the shofar as kosher.
